This is how Ava spends her mornings before Kindergarten, dressing and crowing life size (scary) dogs,
cutting up cardboard boxes and making them into aliens,
painting sweet pictures that I want to frame, did this child come from me?

At least she just plays with stuffed dogs and isn't on her knees running around pretending she is a dog-maybe you two are more alike than you think.

All this creativity must be coming from her Jenk's genes, heaven knows Merrells aren't artistic. Are Ava and Savannah still doing ballet? It was so cute to see Ava dress up in her tutu and dance.
Seth's our little artist. It's great the he can keep himself entertained for so long cutting, gluing, taping, and on and on. I've been meaning to post some of his "artwork" on my blog as well. And I'm with you....it TOTALLY doesn't come from me!!!!
That picture is really good. You should really frame it. Ava really does have a talent. I think that comes from you...didn't your mom always say that you were a wonderful illustrator? :)
Um.... what do I say to my long lost friend whose blog I have FINALLY found through some major investigative work that has left my fingers bleeding and numb?? Maybe I should have just called you. :) I love your blog! I read through all theposts and it made me giggle a lot. I just keep thinking - 'What if these ARE the glory days???'
